2024 WCPL St. Louis Classic

The 2024 WCPL St. Louis Classic was a World Classic Paintball League tournament scheduled for 12–13 October 2024 at Gateway Paintball Park in Bridgeton, Missouri. The advertised competition was open ten-player paintball with ten-minute games.[1]

PBLeagues retains 18 team entries and a preliminary and final-round schedule, but does not publish scored results or final placings.[2][3]

Title and venue

The event's recorded title is St. Louis Classic. Its venue was listed as Gateway Paintball Park, 14510 Missouri Bottom Road, Bridgeton, Missouri.[1]

The WCPL identifies its Gateway event with the name Gateway Classic. For the 2024 tournament, however, PBLeagues uses St. Louis Classic.[1][4]

Scheduled dates and format

The published dates were Saturday, 12 October, and Sunday, 13 October 2024.[1]

The registration category was Open 10v10 (Sat–Sun), with ten-minute games. PBLeagues displayed 18 registered and paid entries, matching the event's listed capacity.[1]

The preliminary schedule divided the teams into groups A and B, using two playing areas labelled Field 1 and Field 2. Fixtures were scheduled on both days, beginning at 8:00 am.[3]

A final round was scheduled for Sunday from 11:00 am. Its fixtures retained placeholder entries rather than named finalists.[3]

Event status and results

The surviving schedule contains fixtures without recorded scores, while the team-list page assigns no final placings.[2][3]

Completed competition, cancellation or rescheduling has not been confirmed. No event winner or final standings are assigned here.

Season championship records

PBLeagues' 2024 WCPL season page does not provide a championship table and displays a notice that no events have been completed in its season-ranking system.[5]

That database notice does not establish that every scheduled tournament was cancelled. It does not identify a 2024 season champion.

Calendar position

The St. Louis Classic followed the 2024 WCPL California Classic in the published WCPL event archive.[6]
