2023 WCPL Saint Louis Gateway Classic
The 2023 WCPL Saint Louis Gateway Classic, also advertised as the Saint Louis Classic and WCPL Gateway Classic, was a World Classic Paintball League event announced for 14–15 October 2023 at Gateway Paintball in the St Louis area of Missouri.[1][2][3]
Paintball Media subsequently advertised coverage of the WCPL Gateway Classic in its November 2023 issue. The announcement provides evidence of subsequent event coverage, although it does not give the tournament's results or confirm its actual playing dates.[3]
Announcement and naming
[edit]The WCPL's published remaining calendar identified a Saint Louis Classic for 14–15 October 2023.[1]
Another league announcement used the fuller name Saint Louis Gateway Classic and named Gateway Paintball as the venue. Paintball Media used WCPL Gateway Classic when announcing its November coverage.[2][3]
Documented status
[edit]On 9 November 2023, Paintball Media announced that its November magazine included coverage of the WCPL Gateway Classic.[3]
The publisher's announcement does not identify participating teams, placings or a revised event date. Those details remain unconfirmed here.
