2007 PSP season
The 2007 PSP season was a five-event United States paintball tournament series organised by Paintball Sports Promotions (PSP). It included professional National Xball League (NXL) competition, Open and divisional X-Ball, and five-player tournaments.[1][2][3][4][5]
Los Angeles Ironmen won the NXL championship through the season-ending World Cup play-offs. San Diego Aftermath won the Open X-Ball season title, Vicious won Division 2 X-Ball and DBS Kidz won Division 3 X-Ball.[5]

WARPIG identified the River City venue as “Council Bluffs Recreation Center”, while describing its location as Omaha, Nebraska. Its report is the source of that venue wording.[4]
World Cup's wider programme began on 23 October with field walking and trade-show activity; competition began on 24 October.[5][6]
Competition formats
[edit]The main X-Ball categories were the professional NXL division, Open, Division 2 and Division 3. Open admitted Division 1 teams and professional or semi-professional teams outside the NXL.[1]
Divisional teams generally played four preliminary matches before advancement rounds. Division 3 used a race-to-five format, with a match ending when one team reached five points.[3]
Five-player competition retained its separate tournament structure. At Los Angeles, teams played three games against each preliminary opponent and retained their best two scores from each pairing for advancement.[1]
