2007 PSP Mid-Atlantic Open

The 2007 PSP Mid-Atlantic Open was a Paintball Sports Promotions tournament held from 3 to 6 May 2007 at PBC Sports Park in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It was the second event of the 2007 PSP season and included National Xball League professional competition, divisional X-Ball and five-player paintball.[1][2]

Venue and conditions

PBC Sports Park was an established tournament venue near Charlotte, North Carolina. Rain and falling temperatures produced wet and muddy conditions during the event.[1]

NXL competition

Sixteen teams competed in the professional division. Boston Red Legion defeated Los Angeles Ironmen 9–8 in the semi-finals, while X-Factor beat San Diego Dynasty 10–7. Boston won the final 9–4 against X-Factor.[1]

Divisional X-Ball

San Diego Aftermath won the Open division, Denver Altitude won Division 2 and Sin City Paintball won Division 3.[2]

Five-player competition

Team Encounter won Division 3 and Looseballs won Division 4. Both finals were decided by two games to one.[1][2]
