Lycka (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Lycka was a New Zealand tournament paintball team from Invercargill, documented during 1999.[1][2]
Tournament history
[edit]Lycka competed in the 1999 National Three-Man Centre Flag Competition at the Southern Paintball Sports Club fields in Invercargill on 6 June 1999. Four teams played in the tournament.[1]
Lycka recorded −9 points against Psychosis, 1 point against Deviants and 11 points against Courage Under Fire. The team finished fourth in the published round-robin table with a total of 3 points and did not advance to the final.[1]
The negative score against Psychosis is retained as printed in the contemporary results.
In the retrospective 1999 Valhalla National Rankings, Lycka was tied for twenty-first with Shadow Hawkes. Both teams received a calculated ranking score of 2.[2]
The Valhalla figure was a ranking value rather than a tournament score or championship placing.
No verified roster, captain, founding date, alternative spelling or later tournament appearance has been recovered.
