Lycka (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Lycka was a New Zealand competitive paintball team from Invercargill, documented during 1999.[1][2]
Tournament history
[edit]Lycka competed in the 1999 National Three-Man Centre Flag Competition at the Southern Paintball Sports Club fields in Invercargill on 6 June 1999. Four teams played the tournament.[1]
The team recorded −9 points against Psychosis, 1 point against Deviants and 11 points against Courage Under Fire. Lycka finished fourth in the published round-robin table with a total of 3 points and did not advance to the final.[1]
In the retrospective 1999 Valhalla National Rankings, Lycka was tied for twenty-first with Shadow Hawkes. Both teams had a calculated ranking score of 2. The Valhalla figure was a ranking value rather than a tournament score or national championship placing.[2]
No verified roster, captain, founding date or later tournament appearance has been recovered.
