Rascals (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Rascals was a New Zealand competitive paintball team from Palmerston North. The team placed fourth in the round-robin stage and third in the Ashburton Cup play-off at the second event of the 2011 Southern Series.[1]
Tournament history
[edit]Rascals competed at Southern Series II in Ashburton in April 2011. The tournament used a five-player open-class centre-flag format, with a double round robin followed by an Ashburton Cup play-off for the four leading teams.[1]
The organiser's completed results identified Rascals as a Palmerston North team. Rascals scored 1,612 points in the round robin, finishing fourth of 13 teams behind Havoc, Clown Monkeys and Flashpoint.[1]
Rascals consequently advanced to the four-team Ashburton Cup play-off. Havoc won the Cup, followed by Clown Monkeys in second, Rascals in third and Flashpoint in fourth.[1]
The round-robin and Cup results were published as separate classifications. Rascals' 1,612-point total was its round-robin score, not a score from the Cup play-off.[1]
The surviving report does not provide a roster, individual match scores or evidence of another completed tournament appearance.
