PGP Masters Cup

From WikiPaintball

PGP Masters Cup was a Mexican paintball tournament series described in a 2009 UNAM study as a five-event competition intended to send its champion to the World Cup in Orlando, Florida.[1]

History

[edit]

Saraí Fuentes García's study places PGP Masters Cup alongside Road To World Cup in its account of Mexican tournament paintball before the formation of Serial Mexicano de Paintball (SMP).[1] This retrospective account does not establish an exact founding date for PGP Masters Cup.

According to Fuentes García, the organisers of the two series combined their competitions in early 2005 to form SMP. The study names Mario Khan of Xtreme Planet and Paolo Dezi of Planet Gotcha Paintball as the organisers involved.[1]

Events and results

[edit]

The study's description of a five-event series does not provide a dated calendar or individual event results. It does not identify a PGP Masters Cup champion or establish that the intended World Cup participation took place.[1]
