East Coast SOCOM (Malaysia Paintball Team)
East Coast SOCOM (ECSOCOM) is a Malaysian woodsball and scenario paintball team with a focus on military simulation (MilSim). Its archived team profile records training at Paintball Valley and participation in Malaysian big games.[1]
History
[edit]According to its profile published on the Malaysia Woodsball League website, East Coast SOCOM formed in February 2010 with three members. The founding members originated from Kelantan, which influenced the team's name, while their interest in military and special forces imagery influenced its badge.[1]
The team initially organised recreational paintball activities and regular training at Paintball Valley. Its profile subsequently described a move towards MilSim gameplay and reported membership of approximately fifty players from across Malaysia.[1]
