Death Mavericks (Singapore Paintball Team)
Death Mavericks, also referred to as Death Maverick, was a Singapore-based paintball team documented in early accounts of the Singapore Paintball Novice Series. At 2009 Singapore Paintball Novice Series Leg 2, team member Sean Low won the individual Top Gun competition.[1][2]
History
[edit]Early activity
[edit]An October 2008 account of Red Sevens described playing with Kev-Lee of Death Maverick, who was subsequently joined by Sean, Andrew and Daryl.[2]
Death Mavericks competed at 2008 Singapore Paintball Novice Series Leg 2, progressing from the qualifying stage into the second round.[3]
Sean later appeared as a guest player for Carnage at the final SPNS leg of 2008.[4]
2009 competition
[edit]Death Mavericks placed third in the qualifying standings at 2009 Singapore Paintball Novice Series Leg 2. This was a qualifying position rather than a final tournament placing.[1]
Sean Low won the event's Top Gun competition, in which individual players represented their teams in one-on-one games.[1]
