Professional competition
[edit]San Diego Dynasty defeated Houston Heat 7–1 in the professional final. The victory was Dynasty's fourth consecutive NXL major event win.[3][4]
In the semi-finals, Dynasty recovered from a 5–2 deficit against Baltimore Revo to reach the final. The contemporary NXL report credited the team's adjustment to Revo's centre-field attack as a factor in the comeback.[4]
Archie Montemayor received the event most valuable player award, while Blake Yarber was named finals most valuable player.[4]
