2018 NXL Australia
2018 NXL Australia comprised regional NXL Australia paintball competitions and a national finals event. The organiser published four-round calendars for New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. The finals were advertised for 13–14 October at Paintball Games Coldstream. Surviving reports confirm competition at several events, but do not establish completion of every scheduled round or a complete set of results.[1][2][3][11][12]
Regional competitions
[edit]The published regional venues were Ultimate Paintball in Camden for New South Wales, Paintball Games Coldstream for Victoria, and Tactical Ops Paintball for Queensland.[1][2][3]
The archived Western Australian events page stated that details were forthcoming; it did not provide a dated 2018 calendar.[13]

The Queensland calendar placed Round 4 after the advertised national finals dates. The surviving schedule alone does not establish whether that regional round proceeded as planned.[3][11]
Verified results
[edit]The following results are supported by participant reports or a contemporary sponsorship announcement. They are individual event results, not annual championship standings.
| Event | Division or competition | Verified placings |
|---|---|---|
| Queensland Round 1 | Division not specified in participant report | 1st: nVs; 2nd: Calvert Valour.[4] |
| Queensland Round 1 | Semi-Pro | 3rd: Renegades.[6] |
| NSW Round 1 | Division not specified in participant report | 1st: nVs; 2nd: Cartel; 3rd: Sydney Explicit.[5] |
| Victoria Round 3 | Division 3 | 1st: Super Heroes in Training.[9] |
The sources do not establish that Renegades' Semi-Pro result at Queensland Round 1 belonged to the same division as the nVs–Calvert Valour final.[4][6]
Documented match results
[edit]At Queensland Round 1, nVs recorded preliminary wins of 4–1 against Calvert Valour and 5–1 against One Life. Their participant report also records wins against Mungers, Blade, Eastside Raw and Hillbillies, followed by victory over Calvert Valour in the final. It does not provide the final's score.[4]
At Queensland Round 2, Renegades reported three wins and one loss after the opening day on 19 May. This was an interim record rather than a final placing.[7]
National finals
[edit]The 2018 NXL Australia Finals were advertised for 13–14 October at Paintball Games Coldstream. On 14 October, Hustle player Daniel Dansey published a photograph captioned “NXL Australia finals!”, supporting the event's occurrence and his team's involvement.[11][12]
No verified national finals podium or complete annual championship standings have been established from the cited records.
