2011 INPL season

From WikiPaintball

The 2011 INPL season was the Iran National Paintball League competition for the Iranian calendar year 1390. Documented events took place in Gilan in September 2011, Babolsar in December 2011 and a concluding competition reported in February 2012.[1][2][3]

Datis won the overall men's first-division championship. Diako won the concluding second-division competition and secured promotion, while Datis Girls won the women's cup and the women's 1390 championship.[3][4]

Season programme

[edit]

The association described the September opening round as the first event of the league's third year. Its completed-event report recorded eight premier teams and twelve lower-division teams.[1]

The December programme combined the second men's round with the first women's round. The women's second round was subsequently scheduled for February 2012.[2][5]

Men's competition

[edit]

Opening round

[edit]

Datam defeated Datis Tehran in the premier final on 9 September 2011. The association reported twenty participating teams across the two divisions, compared with sixteen anticipated in its advance announcement.[1][6]

The completed-event report called the lower division “Division One”, alongside a separate premier division. The December results instead used first- and second-division labels.[1][2]

December round

[edit]

Datis won the men's first division in Babolsar, followed by Hype and Persian Legend Two. Joubin finished fourth, SWAT fifth, Datam sixth, Persian Legend One seventh and Tigers eighth.[2]

Diako won the second division, ahead of Soheil and Tornado. Titan, Proshat, Arad, Amertat, Phoenix, Shahid Tehrani Moghaddam and Beyt Al-Reza completed the published order.[2]

February 2012 conclusion

[edit]

A Datis report dated 17 February 2012 stated that its first team had won the last INPL round and received the overall championship trophy for 1390. Hype was its opponent in the final; the report identified Datis defeating Joubin and Hype defeating Persian Legend in the knockout phase.[3]

The same report described the final as a repeat of the second-round final, which Datis had won 9–8. That score refers to the earlier match and is not a verified February final score.[3]

Planet Eclipse's report of 27 February confirmed Datis's first-division victory and overall series title. It also recorded Diako winning Division 2 and securing promotion to Division 1 for the following season.[4]

Women's competition

[edit]

First round

[edit]

The women's opening round took place alongside the December men's event in Babolsar. Datis Tehran finished first, Javidan Tehran second and host team Roham Babolsar third.[2]

February programme and championship

[edit]

The association scheduled the second women's round for 15 February 2012 (26 Bahman 1390) at Shahid Dastgerdi Paintball Club, also identified as PAS, in Tehran. Field walking was scheduled for the preceding afternoon.[5]

Planet Eclipse subsequently reported Datis Girls winning the women's cup and being crowned the women's champions for 1390.[4]

Planet Eclipse recorded twenty-six teams across three divisions at the concluding competition, including a separate women's division.[4]

Relationship to the 2012 season

[edit]

The February 2012 championship reports explicitly identify the completed season as 1390. The following 2012 INPL season covers the separate 1391 programme, whose confirmed women's opening round took place in May 2012.[3][4][7]
