It comprised four events, beginning with the Phoenix Open in March and concluding with the World Cup in October. Competition formats
[edit]The principal divisions were professional RaceTo-7, Division 1 and Division 2 RaceTo-5, and Division 3 and Division 4 RaceTo-4. Separate Division 3 and Division 4 RaceTo-2 competitions were contested throughout the season.[2][3][4]
In the longer RaceTo formats, matches ended when a team reached the division's points target or the game clock expired. RaceTo-2 used a best-of-three five-player format.[3]
Phoenix also included Semi-Pro RaceTo-7, won by Entourage. The published season standings contain only Phoenix results for that division. Entourage and San Diego Aftermath subsequently appear in the professional results at Chicago.[2][3][7]
World Cup added Masters RaceTo-4, Division 2 RaceTo-2 and Division 5 RaceTo-2 to the programme.[6][8]
