2008 PALS Thailand

2008 PALS Thailand, described in contemporary reporting as PALS Bangkok, was a planned Paintball Asia League Series tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was scheduled for October 2008 but was cancelled because of political unrest.[1][2]

Cancellation

A SEBURO report published on 16 September 2008 stated that the following month's PALS Bangkok tournament had been cancelled because of political unrest.[1]

A retrospective report in the February 2009 issue of Paintball Sports also confirmed that the Bangkok round had been cancelled amid demonstrations and security concerns. It reported that World Cup Asia became the only PALS event held during the 2008 season, following the cancellation of the other planned rounds.[2]
