2007 International Thailand Paintball Championship

From WikiPaintball

2007 International Thailand Paintball Championship (ITPC) was a planned Thai round of the Paintball Asia League Series, announced for 24–26 August 2007. A subsequent PALS notice stated that the event would move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, while retaining those dates.[1]

Original announcement

[edit]

The announcement named Infernal Paintball and TupChang Paintball as organisers. The Thai venue had not been announced.[1]

The advertised programme offered Open and Novice divisions, using Millennium Series M5 rules with five players and two reserves. Entry fees were US$400 for the Open category and US$200 for the Novice category.[1]

Relocation

[edit]

A PALS announcement reproduced with the event information attributed the move to anticipated security concerns surrounding Thailand's political situation and the withdrawal of a government-agency sponsor. It stated that the Thai PALS partner had requested assistance hosting the event in Malaysia, and confirmed Kuala Lumpur as the replacement location.[1]
