Brew Ha (New Zealand Paintball Team)

Revision as of 11:05, 26 October 2026 by Admin (talk | contribs) (Created an evidence-based article for Brew Ha, covering its verified tournament record from 2001 to 2002 and its separate 2004 registration. Reconciled Brewha as a spelling variant; added the Hawke’s Bay and Rotorua records; clearly distinguished the 2004 no-show from confirmed participation; and omitted an uncertain Central North Island location, unsupported home field and unavailable roster.)

Brew Ha, also recorded as Brewha, was a New Zealand tournament paintball team documented in competition during 2001 and 2002. The same organisation registered for the 2004 Hawke's Bay Triples but did not attend.[5]

The available contemporary records do not establish the team's precise home location, formation date or roster.

History

[edit]

2001

[edit]

Brew Ha competed at the Hawke's Bay Triples in February 2001. The October 2001 Valhalla National Rankings assigned the team 31.4 ranking points for that three-player event; the ranking table does not provide Brew Ha's raw tournament score or final placing.[1]

At the Rotorua Volcanic tournament on 2–3 June, Brew Ha scored 290 points across fourteen preliminary games and did not advance to either divisional final.[2] The 2001 Valhalla seven-player table placed the team 22nd with 20.7 ranking points from the Rotorua event.[1]

2002

[edit]

The team appeared as Brewha at the Hawke's Bay 3-Man on 2–3 February 2002. It scored 590 preliminary points and did not reach the two-team final.[3]

At the 2002 Volcanic Rotorua Paintball Tournament on 1–2 June, Brew Ha qualified for the ten-team Plate competition. It finished eighth in the Plate standings with 225 points, behind Havoc and ahead of Insane.[4]

2004 registration

[edit]

Brewha was included in the entry list for the 2004 Hawke's Bay Triples. The tournament report records a score of zero and explicitly identifies the team as a no-show. Eleven other teams played; Brew Ha's registration is therefore not treated as a tournament appearance or a twelfth-place finish.[5]
