The 2007 Super 5s was the 2007 season of the Super 5s five-player paintball series. The early rounds were held at A Paintball Adventure in Papakura, Auckland. An October announcement subsequently identified Actions Paintball as the competition's new host. The series maintained separate championship standings for two divisions.[1][9][10][11]
Legion led Division 1 and Sinista led Division 2 after the sixth round on 26 August. These were interim standings, not the final championship results.[6]
Season
The series opened on 25 February, with Legion winning Division 1 and Punx winning Division 2. Menace won the March and April rounds, followed by Legion winning the June, July and August rounds.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
The round provisionally scheduled for 13 May was postponed because it coincided with Mother's Day. A separate Queen's Birthday tournament was distinguished from the regular Super 5s competition, which resumed on 24 June.[3][4][8]
A seventh round was announced for 23 September at A Paintball Adventure.[7]
On 25 October, a notice titled October Super 5's (Auckland) announced that Super 5s was now hosted at Actions Paintball.[11]
Format
The competition used a five-player, hopper-ball format, limiting players to the paint carried in their loaders. An additional pod was discussed before the March round, but the discussion did not confirm adoption of the proposed change.[9]
The opening round's results were published by division. The subsequent round reports presented combined classifications, while retaining separate divisional championship standings.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
