Wipe Paintball Magazine

From WikiPaintball

Wipe Paintball Magazine is an Iranian paintball publication associated with Tehran. Its Joomag profile describes it as founded in 2012 and covering international paintball through news, photographs and interviews.[1][2]

Surviving digital listings include issues bearing 2012 dates and a January 2015 issue numbered 15. The accessible sample of issue 15 contains both Persian and English material.[1][2][3]

Publication history

[edit]

Wipe's Joomag collection identifies 2012 as its founding year. The collection lists editions labelled March, June, July, August, 20 August and September 2012, alongside issue 15.[1]

The March 2012 listing identifies the edition as issue 5, while the September 2012 listing identifies issue 11. Both pages display a platform publication date of 10 January 2013, distinct from their issue labels.[4][5]

Issue 15 is described as the January 2015 New Year issue, published in Tehran. Joomag dates its publication to 3 January 2015 and lists eight pages.[2]

Content

[edit]

The publication's stated coverage includes paintball news, photographs and interviews from Iran and abroad.[1]

The publicly accessible sample of issue 15 includes Persian reporting about the authorisation and official status of an Iranian team's trip to Malaysia. It presents differing accounts attributed to a Ministry of Sport and Youth official and Babak Esmaeili.[3]

The sample also contains an English interview with Benedicte Rønneberg, captain of the Norwegian women's team Poison Ivy. The interview discusses the team's formation, international participation and results during 2013.[3]

Although Joomag labels issue 15 as English-language, the sample demonstrates that it contains material in both Persian and English.[2][3]
