Vegas Eclipse (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Vegas Eclipse was a New Zealand tournament paintball team documented in the 2005 Hamilton 3x Series. The team competed in the first two recorded rounds, finishing seventh in the opening round and fifth in the second round.[1][2]
History
[edit]Vegas Eclipse made its first documented tournament appearance in the opening round of the 2005 Hamilton 3x Series on 10 July. It scored 523 points and finished seventh among twelve teams.[1]
The contemporary results report described Vegas Eclipse, Eyeon and Newbees as teams composed almost entirely of players who were new to tournament paintball. The source does not provide the players' names or establish when Vegas Eclipse was formed.[1]
Vegas Eclipse returned for the second round on 11 September 2005. It scored 674 points and placed fifth among eleven teams, behind Running With Scissors, Hybrid, Monkeys and GBU.[2]
The published cumulative standings following the second round awarded Vegas Eclipse three series points. These were interim standings rather than confirmed final championship results, and the available sources do not establish whether the team participated in any later round.[2]
