Surge (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Surge, styled SUЯGE, is a New Zealand competitive paintball team from Hawke's Bay. It is documented in Arena Paintball tournament draws during 2025 and 2026.[1][2][3][4][5]
Tournament history
[edit]2025 Arena events
[edit]Surge appeared in Pool B of the March event in the 2025 Arena programme, alongside Ballistics Unit, BOP Blast, Crisis, Lumber Jacks and Immortal Knights.[2]
The team also appeared in the draw for the second Arena round, scheduled for 31 May–1 June 2025. The organiser advertised a full round robin followed by Cup and Plate finals.[3] The recovered draw confirms the team's entry but does not establish its final placing.
2026 Arena events
[edit]Surge was listed in Pool A of the 2026 Arena Paintball Easter Race. The published styling for the entry was SUЯGE Paintball Team – Hawkes Bay.[4]
The team subsequently appeared in Pool B of the 2026 Arena Paintball Matariki Race.[5]
The recovered tournament draws establish Surge's entries but do not provide match results or final placings.
