Nurv (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Nurv was a New Zealand tournament paintball team documented competing in 2007. The team finished fourth in Division Two at the 2007 Christchurch X-ball Tournament.[1]
Nurv was distinct from the American team known as NURV and Portland NURV.
History
[edit]Nurv competed in the second division of the 2007 Christchurch X-ball Tournament in September 2007. Two contemporary participants reported that the team finished fourth in its division.[1]
A forum contributor using the name Jawa_nz identified himself as the Nurv team captain. In his post-event account, he thanked Marty, Seth and members of Assassinz for helping Nurv with pitting and coaching. The account does not identify those helpers as Nurv players.[1]
On 14 February 2008, a Council of Captains forum-access list named Jawa_nz as Nurv's representative. This documents the team's representation in that group but does not establish that Nurv competed in a tournament during 2008.[2]
No complete roster, home region or additional tournament result has been identified.
