Tournament history
[edit]PBLeagues records Detachment as an Auckland team registered in its database on 1 February 2014.[1] This is a database registration date rather than a confirmed founding date.
Detachment's first documented tournament appearance was at 2014 SAPC Race Series Event 1 on 8–9 February 2014, where it finished third in Mechanical Pump – Beginner.[2] The team subsequently moved into Mechanical Pump – Division 4, placing fourth at Event 2 and third at Event 4.[3][4] The 2014 season table ranks Detachment fourth in Division 4 with 50 points from those two rounds; the earlier Beginner result was recorded separately.[5]
