DerDer Nation
DerDer Nation, also titled The DerDer Nation, is a 2007 tournament paintball film produced by DerDer Productions. The 80-minute DVD documents 12 events across three regional American tournament circuits: the Xtreme Paintball Sports League (XPSL), Carolina Field Owners Association (CFOA) and New England Paintball League (NEPL).[1][2]
Unlike several earlier DerDer films focusing on professional competition, DerDer Nation concentrates on amateur tournament players competing across the United States.

The film appeared in a paintball DVD catalogue published on 10 January 2008, confirming its availability by that date.[2]
Soundtrack
[edit]The American punk rock band 900 Pound Gorilla has reported an association with the production.
The band's official biography states that its music appeared on a DerDer Nation paintball CD.[3]
The specific songs have not been identified, and it has not been independently established whether the recordings mentioned in the biography were included in the film's DVD soundtrack.
DerDer Nation Volume 2
[edit]A follow-up production, DerDer Nation Volume 2, was announced in November 2008 as part of the double-disc release of Progression.[4]
The second volume documented regional paintball competition during the 2008 season, including:

- CFOA X-Ball Event 1
- GPL Event 1
- XPSL Las Vegas
- XPSL San Bernardino
Unlike the original DerDer Nation, which covered the XPSL, CFOA and NEPL, the second volume also featured competition from the GPL.[4]
