Catalyst (New Zealand Paintball Team)
Catalyst was a Dunedin paintball team documented in South Island three-player tournaments during 2004 and 2005. The team finished second at the 2005 Fallen Christchurch Three-Man.[1][3]
History
[edit]2004 competition
[edit]Catalyst competed at the 2004 Invercargill Three-Man Tournament, scoring 313 points and placing fourth in the published preliminary standings. These standings were separate from the final, which Mojo won against Hairy Beavers.[2]
Later that year, Catalyst entered the 2004 Dunedin City 3-Man. Brian “B2” Thornley's contemporary report explicitly identified Catalyst and Mojo as Dunedin teams. Twelve teams competed, but the report did not provide Catalyst's final score or placing.[1]
2005 Christchurch tournament
[edit]At the 2005 Fallen Christchurch Three-Man, held on 5–6 March 2005, Catalyst finished second behind Jack Hammer Russells and ahead of Mojo. The published report recorded the podium positions without numerical scores.[3]
