Paintball career
[edit]Aisawan International
[edit]Aisawan identifies himself as the founder of Aisawan International, an organisation and sporting brand associated with competitive paintball teams and tournament activity in Southeast Asia.
The organisation's website states that Aisawan International was founded in 2013.[2]
Aisawan-branded teams subsequently appeared in international tournament records across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and other countries.
These included Virgin Aisawan, Inception Aisawan, Duckside Aisawan and We Are Legion Aisawan.
The organisation also identifies Aisawan Ladies International as a women's competitive paintball project.
Although these team names demonstrate the use of Aisawan branding, the available records do not establish the exact management or ownership relationship between Aisawan and every team.
World Paintball Championship
[edit]Aisawan was involved in organising the World Paintball Championship held in Thailand in December 2017.
The competition took place at Pattana Golf Club & Resort in Si Racha, Chonburi Province.
A contemporary report published by Pattaya Mail on 2 March 2018 identified Songpol Acha-aisawan and the championship organising committee being welcomed by Thomas Tapken, managing director of the resort.[1]
The event included a Nations Cup and several club-team divisions.
Contemporary Thai reporting recorded participation by 40 teams from 11 countries.
The Nations Cup was won by Poland, with Thailand finishing second.
The Aisawan International website subsequently described Aisawan as the founder and owner of the World Paintball Championship.[2]
This founding and ownership description is self-reported; the independent 2018 report confirms his involvement with the organising committee.
Regional tournament partnerships
[edit]Aisawan has also been associated with paintball events outside Thailand.
In July 2024, a report on the Planet Eclipse blog concerning the Penang Island Mayor's Cup in Malaysia identified Acha Aisawan of NAWASIA Bangkok as an affiliated event partner.[3]
The report named him alongside representatives associated with tournaments in Malaysia and Taiwan.
This provides independent evidence of his involvement in regional tournament relationships before the documented 2025 NAWASIA calendar.
NAWASIA Paintball Competition
[edit]Tournament organisation
[edit]Aisawan is identified as the founder of the NAWASIA Competition Series on the organisation's website.[2]
NAWASIA organised competitive speedball and X-Ball events in Bangkok during 2025 and 2026.
The tournament used multiple competitive divisions and was associated with SAP Speed Airsoft & Paintball Field.
2025 competitions
[edit]Malaysia Paintball published listings for two NAWASIA tournament rounds scheduled during 2025.
Both identified Acha Aisawan as the event contact.[4][5]
| Tournament | Dates | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| NAWASIA Competition 2025 Leg 2 | 2–3 August 2025 | SAP Speed Airsoft & Paintball Field, Bangkok |
| NAWASIA Competition 2025 Leg 3 | 29–30 November 2025 | SAP Speed Airsoft & Paintball Field, Bangkok |
The competitions advertised professional, semi-professional and Division One categories.
The published listings establish Aisawan's role as a tournament contact but do not independently confirm the final results of either event.
2026 competition
[edit]NAWASIA continued promoting tournament activity during 2026.
The series used five-star, four-star and three-star competitive divisions.
The official NAWASIA website published team rankings across these divisions.[6]
A major international final was advertised for Bangkok from 30 October to 1 November 2026.
The event's final results and attendance had not been established at the time of writing.
SAP Speed Airsoft & Paintball Field
[edit]Aisawan is associated with SAP Speed Airsoft & Paintball Field, a competitive paintball venue in Lat Krabang District, Bangkok.
The NAWASIA website provides SAP Field contact information and identifies the facility as a tournament location.[2]
Paintball Garage Asia also identifies Acha Aisawan in connection with NAWASIA Competition and SAP Paintball Field.[7]
The available evidence establishes his association with the venue but does not conclusively establish legal ownership of the land or facilities.
Regional paintball activities
[edit]International competition
[edit]Aisawan's tournament projects have been connected with the international paintball community in Southeast Asia.
The World Paintball Championship hosted national and club teams from multiple countries.
NAWASIA events were promoted through regional tournament calendars and industry publications.
Aisawan's appearance as an affiliated event partner for the 2024 Penang Island Mayor's Cup further documents his involvement in cross-border tournament relationships.
Women's paintball
[edit]The Aisawan International website identifies Aisawan Ladies International as a women's competitive paintball project.
It describes the project as bringing together players from several Asian countries.[2]
Aisawan-branded women's teams have also appeared in regional tournament records.
The exact extent of Aisawan's personal coaching or management role has not been independently established.
National-team involvement
[edit]The NAWASIA website describes Aisawan as the manager of the Thailand National Paintball Team.[2]
This is a self-published description.
The available independent sources do not establish the dates of his appointment, the appointing body or the scope of the position.
Historical significance
[edit]Acha Aisawan is associated with several documented developments in Thailand's competitive paintball scene.
These include:
- Involvement in organising the 2017 World Paintball Championship
- Association with the international Aisawan paintball brand
- Regional tournament partnerships, including the 2024 Penang Island Mayor's Cup
- Organisation of NAWASIA competition events in Bangkok
- Association with SAP Speed Airsoft & Paintball Field
