Formats
[edit]Professional five-player WNXL competition used 15-minute Xball matches with a five-point mercy rule. Tampa Bay and Midwest each had eleven teams. Six teams advanced from the preliminary round, with the top three from each bracket qualifying for the playoffs.[2][3][9][10]
Tampa Bay also staged a separate WNXL three-player Xball competition on 19 March. Its published format used seven-minute matches and a three-point mercy rule. The event programme included WNXL action inside Raymond James Stadium as part of the Thursday stadium programme.[2]
