Formats
[edit]Professional WNXL competition used five-player Xball, with 15-minute matches and a five-point mercy rule. Each professional event had ten participating teams.[2][3][5]
At Tampa Bay and Midwest, teams played in two preliminary brackets, with the top two from each advancing to the semi-finals.[6][7]
Amateur five-player games had five-minute time limits. Women's three-player games had three-minute time limits.[2][3][4][5]
The amateur five-player championship counted each team's best three scores, with a maximum of two regional-event scores.[1]
