2026 Road To World Cup Mexico City

The 2026 Road To World Cup Mexico City was a paintball tournament held on 1–2 August 2026 at Gotcha Mexico in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City. It was advertised as the third event of Liga Mexicana de Paintball's 2026 Road To World Cup programme.[1] SPARTANS PAINTBALL TEAM won Division 3 and RUFIANES won Division 4 in the published playoff records.[2]

Event and format

The venue was listed at Valle de las Monjas 133, San Mateo Tlaltenango, Cuajimalpa de Morelos. Both divisions offered five-player X-Ball with a published game time of 12 minutes and mercy-four format.[1]

The preliminary score records list seven teams in each division, with four advancing to the playoffs.[2] The registration page's larger Division 4 entry list is not treated as a count of teams that competed.[3]

Results

The following positions are explicitly labelled in the published playoff brackets.[2]

Position	Division 3	Division 4
1	SPARTANS PAINTBALL TEAM	RUFIANES
2	Sykaryos	Plan B by Instinct
3	Sykass	BULLY BOYS
4	SPARTANS PBT	VAGOS RONNIN

Finals

Division	Winner	Score	Runner-up
Division 3	SPARTANS PAINTBALL TEAM	5–4, overtime	Sykaryos
Division 4	RUFIANES	4–0	Plan B by Instinct

Both scorelines appear in the playoff records, which mark the Division 3 final as overtime.[2]

Qualification and placing distinctions

Sykaryos led the Division 3 preliminary stage, while BULLY BOYS led Division 4. These were qualifying positions, not tournament victories.[2]

The brackets assign third and fourth places to the losing semi-finalists but do not display separate consolation matches. Those placings are retained as published; no third-place match scores are inferred.[2]

The tournament results do not establish final season champions or receipt of World Cup qualification or travel prizes.
