2021 WNXL World Cup exhibition
The 2021 WNXL World Cup exhibition was the inaugural exhibition match of the Women's National Xball League (WNXL), held on 13 November 2021 during the 2021 NXL World Cup in Kissimmee, Florida. Team Fire defeated Team Ice 7–3.[1]
Date and venue
[edit]The exhibition took place at the outdoor World Cup site beside Gaylord Palms Resort on West Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee. The organiser's registration announcement listed 6000 West Osceola Parkway, while its contemporary event preview used 5990 West Osceola Parkway.[2][3]
The wider World Cup programme ran from 10 to 14 November; the exhibition itself was played on Saturday, 13 November.[1][2]
Teams and format
[edit]Fire and Ice were composite exhibition teams drawing players from the franchises preparing for the 2022 WNXL season. They contested a twenty-minute X-Ball match, with two-minute intervals between points. The team scoring most points won.[1]
The contemporary report explicitly identifies the following team assignments. This is not a complete roster.[1]

League context
[edit]The exhibition introduced WNXL ahead of its first regular season in 2022. A contemporary preview of that season distinguished the World Cup exhibition from the forthcoming six-team professional championship.[1][4]
