The Millennium Series demonstrated its proposed M500 limited-paint format at the opening event in Puget-sur-Argens. Edmonton Impact played Houston Heat, while Frankfurt Syndicate played Toulouse TonTons.[4]

The demonstration restricted each player to one loader and two pods per point. In April 2015, the league described further trials and an intention to introduce a final version across its divisions in 2016.[4]
