M500 demonstration
[edit]The event hosted the Millennium Series' first demonstration matches using its proposed M500 limited-paint format. Edmonton Impact played Houston Heat, while Frankfurt Syndicate played Toulouse TonTons.[5]
The trial restricted the paint carried onto the field to one loader and two pods per player for each point. It formed part of the league's development of a limited-paint format for possible wider introduction in 2016.[5] The main tournament retained the existing format.[6]
