2011 Southern Series II (Ashburton)

From WikiPaintball

2011 Southern Series II was a five-player paintball tournament held in Ashburton, New Zealand, in April 2011. Thirteen teams competed. Ashburton's Havoc led the round-robin standings and won the Ashburton Cup play-off.[1]

Organisation and format

[edit]

The event was the second round of the Southern Series. The announcement specified open-class, five-player centre-flag competition under NPPL rules, with a maximum firing rate of 14 balls per second. Kiwi Paintball, Command Paintball and Ashburton Paintball Club were named as supporters.[1]

The format combined a double round robin for series points with a separate top-four play-off for the Ashburton Cup.[1]
