2008 Swanson Top Gun X-Ball
The 2008 Swanson Top Gun X-Ball was a paintball event held on 11 May 2008 at Actions Paintball in Swanson, Auckland, New Zealand. Four teams competed: Blast, Insane, Actions and Team Glen.[1][2]
Organisation and format
[edit]The organiser described the event as a pilot for further X-Ball competition. Team Insane prepared the inflatable field, which incorporated elements of the 2006 NPPL Boston layout.[2][3]
The final pre-event instructions specified a single 15-minute playing period, with pairs of teams alternating points while the other pair prepared. The first round used a race-to-seven format, while the second round used race-to-five.[2][3]
