2008 Actions X-Ball (August)
2008 Actions X-Ball (August) was an X-Ball paintball event scheduled for 10 August 2008 at Actions Paintball in Swanson, Auckland, New Zealand. Actions and Team Insane announced the event in June, with an expanded divisional programme published in July.[1][2]
Advertised format

Games used a centre flag, with a point awarded for a clean flag hang at the opposing team's dead box. Paint was unlimited, field paint was compulsory and sideline coaching was prohibited. The opening draw was to be random, followed by Swiss-system pairings.[2]
Preparations
[edit]Team Insane was responsible for preparing the inflatable field. A separate practice and field-setup session was advertised for 3 August 2008, allowing players to inspect the planned layout before the competition.[3]
On 4 August, the organiser reported on field preparations and posted a link to layout photographs. These preparations preceded the scheduled 10 August event.[4]
