2008 NPPL Huntington Beach Open
The 2008 NPPL Huntington Beach Open opened the 2008 National Professional Paintball League season from 28 to 30 March on the beach at Huntington Beach, California. San Antonio X-Factor won the professional division on its NPPL professional debut.[1]
Professional competition
[edit]Eighteen professional teams competed. Eight advanced from the preliminary groups to a round-robin stage, with four progressing to the semi-finals.[1]
X-Factor defeated San Diego Dynasty in two consecutive semi-final games. St. Louis Avalanche likewise beat Golden State Ironmen twice. X-Factor won the final two games to one against Avalanche; Dynasty finished third.[1]
