2007 NPPL Huntington Beach Open
The 2007 NPPL Huntington Beach Open opened the 2007 NPPL Super 7 season from 23–25 March in Huntington Beach, California. Oakland Blast won the professional division, defeating Edmonton Impact in the championship final.[1][2]
Organisation
[edit]The event followed Pacific Paintball LLC's acquisition of the NPPL and XPSL earlier in 2007. Six artificial-turf fields were installed at the beach venue.[1]
The league made its live multi-camera webcast freely accessible, replacing the previous pay-per-view service.[1]

[edit]Eighteen professional teams played in two preliminary groups before eight advanced to the quarter-final round-robin.[1]
Oakland Blast and Edmonton Impact reached the championship final. Blast won in two consecutive games. San Diego Dynasty defeated Stockholm Joy Division in two games for third place.[1]
