2008 CPPS Funball Event (7 December)
The 2008 CPPS Funball Event (7 December) was a tournament organised by Balls Out Promotions on 7 December 2008 during the early development of the Central Premier Paintball Series. MK Storm finished first, followed by Lincoln Hurricanes and Phoenix 5.[1][2]
Dates and organisation
[edit]Rich Harris announced the event on 4 November 2008, following the November trial event. A social gathering was planned at The Boat in Penkridge on Saturday, 6 December, followed by Funball competition from 10 a.m. on Sunday, 7 December.[1]
The announcement offered an open five-man tournament and limited-paint three-man. Harris's event-day report confirmed that play took place and that the organisers adjusted the schedule after some teams failed to attend. Separate results for the advertised three-man competition have not been recovered.[1][2]

[edit]Harris published the following classification on 7 December. His post did not supply points totals or individual match scores.[2]

A Troggs participant independently reported four wins, one draw and five defeats, and subsequently acknowledged the team's fourth place.[3]
