2005 PSP Northeast Open

From WikiPaintball

The 2005 PSP Northeast Open was the fourth tournament of the 2005 Paintball Sports Promotions season, held from 11–14 August at the Turner Valley Complex in Pennsylvania. It featured divisional X-Ball, five-man competition and the concluding regular-season matches of the NXL.[1][2]

Venue

[edit]

The tournament moved from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, its 2004 venue, to the Turner Valley Complex near Pittsburgh. A conflicting golf tournament meant insufficient accommodation was available near Nemacolin for the paintball event.[1]

Oakland defeated Baltimore Trauma 8–7 on Sunday. Boston then beat Chicago Aftershock 13–8, confirming Oakland's Western Conference title ahead of Chicago.[1]
