2004 Super 5s

2004 Super 5s was a season of the Super 5s five-player paintball tournament series in Auckland, New Zealand. A contemporary report identifies Kumeu as the venue for the regular series, while archived forum records document discussions of rounds from February through October.[1][2][3]

Venue

In June 2004, Rob Maddox described the Kumeu venue as the regular home of the Super 5 series. The same venue hosted the separate 2004 Auckland Queen’s Birthday Superball, which used two airball fields.[1]

Season

The June forum index records a season discussion titled “Super5 2004”, a February results thread and discussions concerning the March, April, May and June rounds. A separate thread announced a change to the April date.[2]

An October archive records further discussions concerning July, August, September and October. It also lists a thread titled “mid year super 5s 1st rnd results”, posted on 12 August.[3]

These surviving indexes establish contemporary coverage of the season but do not provide the numerical round scores or final championship standings.[2][3]
