2000 Dunedin City Challenge

From WikiPaintball

2000 Dunedin City Challenge was a five-player, limited-paint tournament organised by The Ultimate Game Dunedin in November 2000. Four teams competed, with Christchurch's Damage Inc defeating Southern Raiders 55–40 in the final.[1][2]

Tournament

[edit]

The event was intended to give players experience of tournament paintball while limiting costs. Each player could use 200 paintballs per end. Games took place on a field containing pine trees and barricades.[1]

Each team played every other team twice, changing ends between the morning and afternoon rounds. The two leading teams qualified for a two-end final.[1]

Triple H was an abbreviated name for Hokonui HeadHunters. Foo Fighters competed with four players despite the five-player format.[1]
