Soldiers of Misfortune

Soldiers of Misfortune is a 2006 paintball film produced by DerDer Productions, focusing on the Contract Killers, a group of professional tournament paintball players selected by equipment manufacturer Hybrid Technologies. The film combines individual player profiles, off-field interviews and tournament footage from the National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) and Paintball Sports Promotions (PSP) circuits.[1][2]

Unlike DerDer's season-review productions, Soldiers of Misfortune concentrates on the personalities and playing styles of individual competitors associated with Hybrid Technologies.

Content

Soldiers of Misfortune introduces members of the Contract Killers through interviews and competitive footage recorded at professional paintball tournaments.

The Contract Killers were a group of players selected by Hybrid Technologies, rather than a single tournament team. The film highlights their individual approaches to competition, personalities and performances across the NPPL and PSP circuits.[1]
