Image and Mutiny promotion
[edit]Following the Old Bay Classic, the ICPL offered professional ten-player places to Image and Mutiny. Image had won the amateur division in Maryland, while Mutiny finished third.[1][4]
The league’s contemporary Windy City preview stated that the places had become available following the relegation of Saberwolves and the departure of R.C. Seadogs. It explained that Saberwolves had lost professional eligibility after missing the season opener.[4]
At Windy City, Image finished fifth in professional ten-player and Mutiny finished eleventh. Their earlier amateur results remained visible in the season records, but both teams were marked as having moved divisions and were excluded from the final amateur championship placings.[1]
