2019 ICPL season
The 2019 ICPL season was the inaugural season of the International Classic Paintball League, a tournament circuit centred on traditional mechanical paintball. Its United States calendar comprised the Windy City Classic in Illinois and the Florida Open in Florida.[1][2][3]
Chicago Aftershock won the professional ten-player season championship, finishing 0.27 points ahead of Los Angeles Infamous. Docs Warriors won amateur ten-player, while Extreme Rage finished first in the open five-player standings, which comprised the Florida Open alone.[1]
Inaugural season
[edit]The league opened with the Windy City Classic at The Badlandz on 1–2 June 2019. Contemporary reporting by Infamous described it as the first ICPL ten-player mechanical event. The professional field included established teams and players returning to traditional tournament competition.[4]
The second event, the Florida Open, took place at Central Florida Paintball in Lakeland on 11–13 October.[3]
