Tournament account

[edit]

The Heroines entered the play-offs after two preliminary defeats. They subsequently defeated both teams that had beaten them, Bear Ridge Saints and Dallas Vibe, before winning the final.[2][4]

In her account of the tournament, Heroines player Daniela Rojas described reviewing the preliminary defeat against Bear Ridge Saints before the quarter-final rematch. She also reported that late penalties against Femmes Fatale affected the closing stages of the final.[4]
