2007 PSP Chicago Open

The 2007 PSP Chicago Open was a Paintball Sports Promotions tournament held from 20 to 24 June 2007 at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The third event of the 2007 PSP season included National Xball League professional competition, divisional X-Ball, five-player tournaments and NXL All-Star exhibition games.[1][2][3]

NXL competition

X-Factor defeated Detroit Strange 5–4 in overtime in the quarter-finals, then beat San Diego Dynasty 9–5 in the semi-finals. Los Angeles Ironmen defeated Philadelphia Americans 7–4 in the other semi-final. X-Factor won the final 7–6.[1]

Five-player competition

Flavor Explosion and Team Encounter won their respective finals in two consecutive games. Corruption won the Division 4 final by two games to one.[1]

NXL All-Star games

The Eastern Conference won the opening two exhibition games, 13–8 and 9–8. The Western Conference won the third game 10–7, leaving the East with a two-games-to-one series victory.[1]
