Lynx Custom was a New Zealand paintball equipment service associated with Wayne “Link” Hilliam. It provided equipment support to Wellington Phoenix in 2000 and was subsequently recommended by Paintball Sportz for Angel, Autococker and Automag servicing.[1][3]

History

[edit]

Phoenix's website identified Hilliam as an airsmith in a news entry dated 13 May 2000. Its report on the 2000 New Zealand Nationals subsequently thanked Hilliam, explicitly naming Lynx Custom, for looking after the team's equipment.[1]

The team's roster, preserved in a February 2002 archive capture, also listed Hilliam as a coach, player and airsmith.[2]

Marker servicing

[edit]

A Paintball Sportz servicing page archived on 6 January 2005 listed Lynx Custom among its recommended marker-service providers. It described the business as specialising in Angel, Autococker and Automag markers and used the slogan “Performance with Attitude”.[3]
