Confusion was a New Zealand tournament paintball team documented at the 2004 Hawke's Bay Triples. The team finished fifth in the preliminary standings.[1]

Tournament history

[edit]

Confusion competed at the Hawke's Bay Triples held near Hastings over Waitangi weekend in February 2004. The three-player tournament was organised by Les Hall and played on a triangular field using plastic square barricades and 44-gallon drums.[1]

Eleven teams competed. A twelfth registered entry, Brewha, did not attend and is not counted as a participating team.[1]

Confusion recorded 640 preliminary points and finished fifth, behind Phantom Blue, Fusion, Phantom Red and Red Devils. The tournament final was contested by Fusion and Phantom Blue, with Fusion winning the event.[1]

No verified Confusion roster, captain, home field or more precise home location has been recovered. Unrelated overseas teams using names such as Organized Confusion and Kawartha Confusion are not treated as the same team.
