History

[edit]

1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters

[edit]

X Rated Green and X Rated Blue competed in the amateur division of the 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters at Paintball Action Games near Ballan, Victoria.[1]

Both entries qualified for the four-team amateur finals. X Rated Green's game against The Creed ended without a flag hang, as did the match between the two X Rated squads.[1]

X Rated Green subsequently lost to KMA, which won the amateur championship. X Rated Green finished second overall, with X Rated Blue third.[1]

1998 Victorian Three-Man Tournament

[edit]

An entry named X Rated competed at the 1998 Victorian Three-Man Tournament, organised by the Victorian Paintball Players Association at the Peninsula Paintball Club's Frankston site.[2]

X Rated was among six entrants but did not qualify for the three-team finals. The contemporary report does not establish its final placing.[2]

Peninsula Paintball Club association

[edit]

In his history of the Peninsula Paintball Club, president Leigh Dixon identified X-Rated as one of four tournament teams that played out of the club, alongside Rat Pak, Loony Tunes and The Creed.[3]

In a club forum post dated 27 March 2003, Dixon listed XRated among the tournament teams represented within the club's membership. The post described the club's activities as mainly social games, with occasional interstate tournament entries and locally organised three-player competitions.[4]
