1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters
The 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters was a paintball tournament held at Paintball Action Games near Ballan, Victoria, Australia. Twelve teams competed across professional and amateur divisions. Magnum won the professional division and KMA won the amateur division.[1]
Organisation and format
[edit]The tournament attracted teams from Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. Three teams travelled from New South Wales and two from South Australia.[1]
Games used a two-flag format under Australasian Paintball Players League rules. Three playing fields were used: speedball, village and bush. Apparition, the venue’s home team, supplied the core refereeing staff.[1]
During the preliminary round, each team played three professional and three amateur opponents. Four teams from each division advanced to the finals.[1]
